JOB SUMMARY:
Sr. JAVA Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. Senior IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications, participation in unit testing and maintenance of planned and unplanned internally developed applications, evaluation and performance testing of purchased products. Senior IT Developers are responsible for including IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application. Senior IT Developers lead efforts, oversee work results, provide training and serve as a technical resource for other Developers.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Senior level experience and understanding with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures.
• Senior level proficiency using versioning tools.
• Senior knowledge of Information Technology fields and computer systems.
• Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible team player.
• Ability to manage tasks independently without close supervision and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skills.
• Senior-level ability to communicate highly complex technical information clearly and articulately at all levels and audiences.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Senior level understanding of the systems development life cycle.
• Senior level proficiency programming in multiple object-oriented programming languages.
• High proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio.
• Senior level proficiency using debugging tools.
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The preferred qualifications listed below reflect desired knowledge, skill, and/or experience.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc
• Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology
• Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary
• 5+ years of Linux shell scripting experience
• 5+ years of experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes or OpenShift
• 2+ years of experience with Kibana or Splunk.
• Familiarity with basic unit testing using swagger or postman or Bruno.
• Experience with resolving security vulnerabilities from Spring boot Java Applications
• 3+ years of experience working with AWS Cloud technologies
• 5+ years of Database knowledge (Oracle/Postgres/MySQL)
Required Work Experience:
•5+ years related work experience, professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry
•5+ years of experience working with Spark/PySpark
•5+ years of experience working with Python
•5+ years working with Java, Spring boot, Spring framework.
Required Education:
•Related Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
