We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Business Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for driving the success and integrity of assigned products by overseeing product planning, process development, implementation, and partner coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business requirements gathering and analysis, with specific expertise in payments, treasury management, or fraud products.
This is a strategic position that requires deep collaboration across internal teams and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-performing products that meet customer needs, align with organizational goals, and comply with risk and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Process Management
- Lead the end-to-end management of assigned products, ensuring infrastructure integrity and a positive customer experience.
- Define and document business requirements through discovery, interviews, data analysis, and customer engagement.
- Represent the voice of the customer during requirements, design, and development cycles.
- Create and maintain buyer/user personas, use cases, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, operations) to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Agile & Risk Management
- Utilize Jira and Agile methodologies to manage requirements, track progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate product and process risks.
- Define success metrics and continuously evaluate product performance, presenting results to key stakeholders.
Operational Readiness & Support
- Partner with Operations teams to ensure product stability and performance.
- Develop and implement efficient escalation protocols for production issues and outages.
- Review and optimize implementation workflows and operational procedures.
Training & Documentation
- Create comprehensive documentation, including process flows, procedures, and implementation guides.
- Develop training materials and lead training sessions for internal stakeholders.
- Recommend criteria for user acceptance testing (UAT) and evaluate outcomes to ensure quality.
Product Advocacy
- Serve as a market and product expert through research, white papers, presentations, and customer interaction.
- Promote the value of assigned products both internally and externally through clear communication and thought leadership.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, or a related role.
- Proven experience in payments, treasury management, or fraud product domains preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira).
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into detailed requirements and actionable plans.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, operations, IT, and compliance.
- Familiarity with risk evaluation frameworks and performance measurement techniques.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement abilities.
