OpTech has a highly-respected Tier – 1 client seeking to hire an experienced Probate Legal Specialist.
Location: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan
Salary range: Up to $77,000 with excellent employee benefits
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and court filings;
- Maintain calendars and case files; scheduling meetings; and submitting accurate timekeeping data.
- Litigation filings for probate matters – Taxation and Estate
- Proactively anticipating the needs of the attorneys and practice group.
- All work is performed in accordance with established firm procedures and with a commitment to exceptional client service.
- Ensure smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
- Communicate frequently with the clients in order to serve them adequately.
- Conduct necessary case research to aid the legal proceedings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Organizational skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, organize documents, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, and court staff.
- Technical proficiency: Strong computer skills, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other legal software.
- Legal knowledge & experience: Familiarity with probate laws, procedures, litigation filings and legal terminology.
- Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive client information with the utmost discretion.
