RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engagement Description:
- Responsible for supporting HEDIS operations, audit activities, and continuous improvement initiatives related to the CMS Star Ratings program
- The role will collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor programs, ensuring compliance with HEDIS requirements and audit standards.
- Key duties include gathering and summarizing performance data, analyzing results to identify gaps, and driving actionable improvement plans
- The ideal candidate possesses excellent communication and project management skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a focus on data integrity and regulatory compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Top 3 Required Skills/Experience:
- Working knowledge of HEDIS and Medicare Stars
- Strong organizational skills, documentation skills, and attention to detail to develop and maintain comprehensive and detailed documentation of all project activities, issues, lessons learned, and performance reporting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills
Required Skills/Experience:
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong project management leadership, facilitation, negotiation, team coaching, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet necessary deadlines
- Ability to effectively exchange information clearly and concisely, present ideas, report facts and other information, respond to questions and employ active listening techniques
- Ability to apply the principles of independent logical, analytical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Strong experience with Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Ability to build trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances
- Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of unit team
- Ability to effectively present budgetary and/or cost information, and respond to questions as appropriate
- Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job
Education/Certifications – Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred
- Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Continuous learning, as defined by the Company’s learning philosophy, is required.
- Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
