Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
Location: Onsite – Detroit, MI
Shift Hours:
• Four 10hr shifts, Wed-Sat
• 7:45am-6:15pm – start time is negotiable
Schedule Notes:
• 13- week assignment with possible conversion
• 1 position needed
NOTES:
• Prefers candidate with experience with inpatient rehab, adult acute care, adult assessments, including bedside swallow or BIM assessment
• Must have BLS
• Candidate should have at minimum bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s preferred
• Good at documentation
• Self starter, good communication
• Cerner and Epic experience are a PLUS

Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the therapy manager, implements treatment programs to provide in-home speech-language pathology services to assist clients with communication deficits.
Required Skills & Experience:
• One (1) year of speech pathology experience in a health setting is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
• Must have sufficient physical energy and tolerance to meet the demands of the job.
• Knowledge of normal communications process, development and disorder to evaluate client and implement approved treatment techniques
• Prefers candidate with experience with inpatient rehab, adult acute care, adult assessments, including bedside swallow or BIM assessment
• Good at documentation
• Self starter, good communication
• Cerner and Epic experience are a PLUS
Required Education:
• Candidate should have at minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s preferred
• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology
Required Certification & Licensure:
• Certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology.
• Must possess a current State of Michigan driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must have BLS
