Title: Radiology Tech/X-Ray Tech
Location: Onsite – Detroit, MI
Shift Hours:
• 12 hour shifts, variable start/end times (7pm-7:30am, 6pm-6:30am, 5:30pm-6am, 3:30pm-4am), 3 days per week, every other weekend
Schedule Notes:
• Certifications: ARRT- R and BLS
• Technology: Carestream
• Minimum Exp: 2 years
• Shift: 7p-730a, 6p-630a, 530p-6a, 330p-4a, every other weekend and Holiday
• Block Scheduling: Yes
• On Call: No
• Shift: Resource will work any of these shifts dependent on scheduling needs
• Preferred: Level 1 Trauma Experience
Job Summary
Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years
- Carestream
Required Certification & Licensure
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
- Healthcare Provider certification required. (BLS).
- ARRT- R.
- BLS.
Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
