Our client faced significant operational hurdles due to their applications being built on unsupported, obsolete technologies. Our solution delivered significant value by providing a responsive user interface accessible on any device, enhancing flexibility for users. Through the Azure Web App container, we created a cohesive environment that seamlessly integrates multiple applications, documents, and resources, enabling an intuitive and consistent navigation experience across apps.
Their internal and external applications, developed using varied technology stacks, demanded different development, deployment, and support competencies, making maintenance costly and finding skilled resources challenging. Inconsistent user experiences across applications compounded these issues, with duplicate functions like email alerts and global settings, and multiple user identities further complicating the landscape. Additionally, the absence of a centralized navigation or application container hindered users from seamlessly navigating between apps, impacting overall efficiency and cohesion in their workflows.
To address our client’s challenges, we fully migrated their Global Extranet Applications from outdated Windows Server 2003 on-premises infrastructure to the Azure cloud. We integrated and certified modern applications, employing strategic approaches such as "Lift and Shift," app refactoring, and rebuilding based on the requirements of each technology stack and framework. We established a consistent UI and services to streamline data management. We also implemented a Centralized Administration Framework and integrated Office 365 and SharePoint APIs to enhance document management capabilities.
