We are seeking a Provider Credentialing Specialist in the metro Detroit MI area. This is a hybrid position 2x/week in the office.
Job Description:
The Provider Credentialing Specialist is responsible for validating, auditing, and maintaining accurate provider information to support provider directory accuracy and data quality. This position conducts provider outreach, researches discrepancies, processes audit results, and works with internal leadership and operational teams to ensure accurate provider data is maintained across systems.
Skills/Experience/Education:
- 3 – 5 years' experience:
- Outbound provider inquires – verifying demographics and contact informationÂ
- Validate provider data on customer facing sites
- Process provider audit results and collaborate with leadership Â
- Microsoft Office –Â Excel, Access, OutlookÂ
- Systems knowledge (preferred) – PORTICO, SF MACESS, FACETS
- Education/Certifications – Highschool diplomaÂ
