We are seeking a Data/Business Analyst to support insurance plan compliance initiatives and benefit plan updates. This role is responsible for analyzing health plan data to identify HSA deductible compliance issues, determining required certificate and rider changes, and coordinating implementation efforts across IT, Account Services, Sales, and Underwriting.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical, reporting, and database skills with the ability to manage complex data and drive compliance-related business solutions.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
Required Experience & Skills
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, reporting, database administration, or insurance operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel
- Strong experience with VBA and SQL
- Experience developing and maintaining databases, queries, reports, and automated processes
- Ability to analyze large datasets, validate data, and identify business impacts
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Health insurance or insurance industry experience
- Knowledge of benefit design, certificates, and riders
- Experience with database design and development
- Familiarity with VB.NET and/or Python
- Experience supporting compliance or regulatory initiatives
