Job Summary
As a member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, the Epic Provisioning Analyst serves as a key resource for managing Epic user accounts and access. Responsible for user provisioning, de-provisioning, security-related tasks, and access troubleshooting in accordance with Epic security policies and Identity and Access Management controls. Works closely with end users and business contacts to understand access requirements, ensure appropriate approvals and training are completed, and provide secure and timely access to Epic applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Epic user access, provisioning, de-provisioning, and access-related troubleshooting.
- Create and maintain Epic accounts in accordance with established security policies and procedures.
- Perform Epic provisioning and security-related activities.
- Serve as a liaison between IAM, end users, and business contacts to understand access needs, requirements, and timelines.
- Verify required Epic training and approvals are completed before granting user access.
- Research, analyze, and resolve routine access and security issues with general direction from the supervisor.
- Support security initiatives while maintaining compliance with Epic security policies and organizational procedures.
- Stay current with changes to access management policies, procedures, and security requirements.
- Collaborate with the IAM team to ensure access management processes remain secure, compliant, and aligned with established guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, security, and access management processes.
- Utilize Data Courier to support Epic-related activities.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support as required.

Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree or equivalent in a related field OR
- Two (2) years of related work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of direct Epic work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of user access management, provisioning, and de-provisioning processes.
- Understanding of access and security procedures within an Epic environment.
- Working knowledge of Data Courier.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing policies, procedures, and learning requirements.
- Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, flexibility, and commitment to continuous learning.
Required Certification & Licensure
• Epic ‘Security Coordinator Certification
Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
