Key Responsibilities
Oracle EBS Assessment & Transformation Support
- Partner with clients to evaluate current-state Oracle EBS configurations, business processes, and reporting needs.
- Identify gaps and recommend future-state solutions leveraging Workday best practices.
- Translate Oracle EBS structures (COA, organizations, cost centers, job codes, suppliers, etc.) into Workday equivalents.
- Support process redesign and transformation initiatives to align with Workday’s operating model.
Workday Implementation & Configuration Support
- Support configuration and deployment of Workday modules such as:
- Workday Financial Management (GL, AP, AR, Asset Management, Procurement)
- Workday HCM (Core HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking)
- Assist with solution design documentation, configuration workbooks, and functional specifications.
- Participate in design sessions and client workshops to validate system requirements and configuration decisions.
Data Mapping, Conversion & Validation
- Lead or support Oracle EBS data extraction and mapping activities for migration into Workday.
- Define conversion rules and transformation logic for master and transactional data.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure accurate ETL processes and data load execution.
- Validate converted data and support reconciliation activities between Oracle EBS and Workday.
Integration & Reporting Support
- Collaborate with integration teams to support integrations between Workday and external systems.
- Assist in documenting inbound/outbound integration requirements and supporting testing efforts.
- Support report validation and reconciliation for legacy vs. Workday reporting outputs.
Testing, Deployment & Post-Go-Live Support
- Support end-to-end testing activities including unit testing, SIT, UAT, and parallel testing (as applicable).
- Provide functional troubleshooting and resolution support during testing cycles.
- Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-production stabilization.
- Deliver knowledge transfer to client teams and provide ongoing advisory support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of Oracle EBS functional experience (Finance and/or HR modules).
- 2+ years of Workday implementation experience (Financials and/or HCM).
- Experience supporting Oracle EBS to Workday migrations, including data mapping and conversion.
- Strong understanding of business process design and ERP transformation principles.
- Experience working in a client-facing consulting environment.
- Strong documentation skills (requirements, design documents, process flows).
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Workday certification(s) in Financials, HCM, Integrations, or Reporting.
- Experience with Workday data conversion tools such as EIB, iLoad, Studio, Prism, or third-party ETL tools.
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS architecture, table structures, and reporting tools (BI Publisher, Discoverer, etc.).
- Experience with integration technologies such as Workday Studio, SOAP/REST APIs, middleware tools, or SFTP-based file integrations.
- Prior experience working at a Workday Services Partner or Workday Solutions provider.
- Familiarity with project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
