Title: Physical Therapist-Staff Rehab
Location: Onsite – Clinton Township, MI

• 8:30am-5:00pm
Schedule Notes
• Exp Must Have: Acute Care or In-Patient Rehab
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm Will work 2 weekend days per month Schedule will be adjusted to 40 hrs per week
• Please note: Resources with Acute Care Exp will work 1 day, 11:00am-7:30pm (Schedule adjust based on census)
• Education: Bachelor's only (must have 5 years of experience), Masters or Doctorate (less than 5 years)
• License: State of Michigan
• Certs: BLS from AHA
Job Summary
The Physical Therapist provides direct patient care utilizing appropriate age-specific standards of practice for physical therapists regarding all patient populations served. Works independently and collaborates well with other team members in obtaining patient-centered goals within the Health System.

Qualifications
Required
One of the following education and experience pathways:

Physical Therapist Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.

Master's/Doctorate degree acquired from a Commission on Accreditation of Physical Therapy (CAPTE) accredited program.

Bachelors only must have 5 years of experience.

Masters or Doctorate with less than 5 years of experience is acceptable.

Ability to problem-solve.
-
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
-
Knowledge about the care of neonate, pediatric adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
-
Acute Care or In-Patient Rehab experience required.
Required Certification & Licensure
-
Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist License from the State of Michigan.

Current BLS certification.
-
BLS from AHA.
Working Conditions
Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
