We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in banking and a proven track record in regulatory remediation and action plan management. This role will serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects, driving the successful delivery of critical initiatives that meet regulatory expectations and deliver business value.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, technology partners, and vendors, to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget—while meeting the highest standards of compliance and quality.


Key Responsibilities
Project Execution

  • Lead and manage small to medium-sized projects of moderate complexity from initiation to completion.
  • Drive regulatory remediation and action plan initiatives within banking environments.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of technical and business solutions.
  • Track and report project status, milestones, issues, and risks to stakeholders using standard reporting tools.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of project deliverables, particularly technical documentation and regulatory compliance artifacts.
  • Oversee vendor performance, deliverables, and manage vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Resource & Budget Planning

  • Forecast and plan resource needs to align with project timelines and objectives.
  • Ensure proper allocation and utilization of internal and external resources.
  • Manage project budgets with a focus on cost control and value delivery.
  • Coordinate procurement and onboarding of contingent labor if required.

Risk & Compliance Management

  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks with appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure all project artifacts and deliverables comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and governance standards.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and accountability throughout the project team.

Qualifications
Professional Experience:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proven experience leading regulatory remediation initiatives or managing regulatory action plans.
  • Strong track record of managing cross-functional teams, including coordination with third-party vendors.

Technical & Project Management Skills:

  • Proficiency with project management tools, especially Jira, for tracking tasks, workflows, and team progress.
  • Solid understanding of both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile/hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify risks and develop effective mitigation plans.
