We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Project Manager to oversee and drive regulatory-driven initiatives within a dynamic and high-stakes banking environment. This role requires a skilled project manager with strong technical writing abilities, capable of producing high-quality remediation documentation and executive-level reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing complex projects under strict deadlines, influencing senior leadership, and delivering on regulatory and governance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end project management for regulatory initiatives, including scope definition, risk assessment, budget tracking, and execution.
- Develop and maintain high-quality remediation documentation, including presentations and reports for regulatory and executive audiences.
- Drive adherence to governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with enterprise project management standards.
- Manage strict deadlines and hold teams accountable to delivery milestones.
- Review and challenge project timelines, deliverables, and team responses to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Manage stakeholder engagement, including influencing and aligning with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Support scorecard reporting, project charter creation, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with teams across geographies, including offshore integration partners and enterprise PMO staff.
- Navigate a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment, delivering on Waterfall project management artifacts while supporting Agile execution.
- Escalate risks and issues appropriately, understanding how risks evolve and impact timelines and deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in Project Management of regulatory and compliance initiatives, preferably within banking or financial services.
- Strong background in technical writing, particularly with remediation documentation and regulatory presentations.
- Expertise in managing project financials from inception to closure.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead meetings at the steering committee level.
- Strong understanding of risk vs. issue management, escalation paths, and governance procedures.
- Experience developing project charters, running structured meetings, and managing cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined.

- JIRA – for tracking project tasks and Agile activities
- MS Excel – for project schedules and budget tracking
- PowerPoint – for regulatory and steering committee presentations
- SharePoint / OneDrive – for project documentation and collaboration
- CAPPM / Clarity – for resource demand planning and allocation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Banking or financial services project experience strongly preferred
- Experience with enterprise-level regulatory remediation projects
- Familiarity with newly established Enterprise Change Management Offices (EPMO)
Challenges of the Role:
- Working with rotating offshore resources and third-party integration partners
- Managing project phases (pre-discovery, discovery, implementation) with short-term approval cycles
- Operating within a capacity planning framework managed by senior leadership and portfolio managers
- Adapting within a newly formed PMO and evolving governance model
