Should I stay or should I go?

ByLaura Ziegler

Remember the song from The Clash, “Should I stay or should I go?” It’s catchy. Although the lyrics aren’t about a career or job, at one point the singer says, “this indecision’s killing me.” Sometimes if you’ve been at a job for a long time, it gets harder to determine if you should leave and the lines get blurred. Indecision creeps in. Here is a quick and easy way to determine if you should stay or if you should go.

What to Consider

When contemplating whether to stay at a current job or transition to a new one, individuals should carefully assess various factors to make an informed decision. Firstly, job satisfaction plays a pivotal role. Compensation and benefits should also be taken into account. Furthermore, evaluating the company’s stability and future prospects is essential. Balancing these factors ensures a well-rounded perspective and facilitates a thoughtful decision-making process.
